Wading away

Some roads leads to unknown destination
no idea where it is leading to…
Some are crooked… and some straight
but your soul is wading in some uncaptivated territory
where roads are unmade and only soul pass by…

Edu-expense

Standing on this big queue, college identity card on one and this huge some of money on the other hand, I recalled my days when education fees were not that enormous. My parents had to pay triple for my younger sister of what they paid during my school days as well as college graduation. With each passing days, education is becoming completely a” bourgeoisie affair.” The cost that one has to pay for pursuing education is steaming like fruits and vegetable prices in our country.
Education is regarded as the basic atom of all domain of our society. In fact, it is the minimum criteria or to say the basic qualification the one needs to possess in order to participate in societal curriculum and activities. Education comes in the category of” intangible possessions” and one who has education is always looked up with respect in our society.
Education is a medium of development, progress and advancement benefitting no single individual but the whole human society. Our, government always supported the spread and achievement of education for all sections. By setting up low cost government schools , scholarship schemes to the underprivileged government tries to help .But, unfortunately the” politics of education system” ruined the positive effort of government.
There is a dark line making the distinction between education and good education .Out government as our patron promotes education but get marred when it come to good education .But, there is a common perception that education opportunity provided by private institutes are comparatively better than the government run ones. But, these education opportunities are not affordable by the general mass of our country.
Not only private but government ones too are becoming very expensive .To pursue education is a burden for many and also becoming a serious concern for parents. Free education is impossible but it should at least be affordable. But there is a serious cost and quality crisis in our education system. I wonder will be the situation like in the next generation? Our education and future is seriously marred within this crippling politics of education. If education becomes unaffordable then seriously where do “we” stand?....

Ravishment

I can’t yet tag myself as a sociologist, but yes I tend to see things from a social perspective. Got up hearing terrible news where a 35 year old woman was gang raped and brutally devoured to death. Gosh! Rape is projected as an” everyday mundane “incident (I guess” affair “would be the most appropriate word to be used) by our media. News is made out of the physical, psychological and mental turmoil undergone by women folks in our country. But my curiosity lies in what is been done to stop rape and assault faced by women. It is sad, but true that nothing is or has been done.
When, recently India was declared to be the fourth unsafe place for women, I was neither shocked nor surprised. The daily eve- teasing, assault that “we” face is something “we” know is inevitable. ”We” are being blamed for our insensible dressing style to instigate or rather provoke men to rape us. And many take these comments as “decree”. Do “we” look insane or some kind of socially instable lot as to provoke men to come and ravish us. Something serious lies behind those subtle accusation on women dressing for ravishment.
I think that rape is a social construct it has something to do with the culture. Comparison with western countries is not appropriate but it tells us many things. Our Indian culture has always been confined and traditional, and I must also say that it is very conservative. The inequality that has been socialized in every household between men and women has a major role to play behind all such misdemeano incidents.

“Females” from the very socialization process have been nurtured as weak, peevish and most importantly as an object .The “objectification “ of women is crude and shrewd and its specificity to Indian culture is grossly .Men is our culture devour women like hungry tiger for its meat( the statement does not definitely holds for all men) . Every where you go, you know some one or the other is stalking you , staring or ogling and talking a pleasure out of your “body”. The mentality goes behind this is that,” women can do nothing.” She is not strong enough to shout and ask men not to gaze at them. Yes, every where “we” are projected as weak. Women folks are always indoctrinated to subdue themselves; they are restricted not to” speak out nor loud neither voice out.” The “cultural mentality “is paid heavily by women. They have to shoulder the burden.

Physical attraction or for the matter the desire to have some physical pleasure is not something alien and is very much there is all human. But, in our culture there is some sort of taboo and a fuss created of our desirability. It is a fact that overnight we can’t be”” westernized in our culture but yes we can defiantly adapt to their broad mindness and become little more “open “ and “broad” is our thoughts and thinking. If, our socialization inculcates more respect and appreciation towards “women “folk I am sure I would make a difference.

Revoked.

Love is irrevocable
Moments of togetherness, passion and obsession
Dreamy and crimsoned eyes, ears patiently listening his heart beat
Every silence makes a gesture..
Every noise appears peaceful
Every shadow makes some forms… some structures….
The sky appears yellow and the sun blue..
With every breath there is a promise for new life…
Love is blessing.. it is a feeling that can go butterflies fly and fly

Love is irrevocable
Love promises us hope and trust…
Hope and trusts to new buds to face the cruel world…
love is irrevocable…
love is not cruel…because it is love…
love is not spiteful…..because it does not hurt…
Love is remembrance.. Love is adoration..
Love cant be revoked and retracted ….
You cannot run off …
With new sunlight dreams cannot be crooked to nightmares..
You cannot forget the person you love the most…
Love cannot be forgotten because love is always fresh in our memories
Memories cannot be

crushed and love cannot be revoked.

Nature checks.

The progress and development that Japan was advancing is undoubtedly commendable. But is it justified that at one stroke of nature every human structure is marred? Nature was cruel, is what we can say from such massive devastation. Thousands of lives lost, loved ones waved away , property turned into ashes and no single person was answerable.

Such humanly wreckage was intolerable to thousands other who were unable to help poor souls in Japan. With blessing and support , they would have enough strength to pull it up and over come the trauma. But how does nature ensure that this kind of destruction would never happen again?
We need to understand nature’s sign and signals. Nature is trying to tell us something that we should understand now. So much of natural destruction and wreckages at the cost of development, at some point of time it has to be reciprocated. Years ,nature has bored discrimination against it, but it also as other living beings has limits to it.

We as sensible human beings should stop undue natural destruction for our benefits or else it is not late that the earth is going to turn as buried place for human carcasses. We pray for souls, for their peace and also that such kind of devastation is never again repeated. We can’t afford to make nature angry on us again.
